Your audio is more than just data. It’s your voice, your message, your connection to your audience. We’ve now added an extra layer of protection to make sure it stays safe: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Why It Matters

Your Auphonic account holds your creative work, custom presets, and integrations. 2FA adds a second lock on top of your password, so even if someone gets hold of your login, your projects remain yours.

What’s New

With 2FA enabled, signing in to Auphonic requires:

  • Something you know: your password
  • Something you have: a one-time code from your authenticator app

It’s quick to set up and works with any TOTP-compatible app like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy.

How to Enable It

  1. Open your Auphonic Account Settings.
  2. Click Manage Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  4. Save your backup codes, so you can access your account if your device gets lost.
  5. Enter the code, and you’re ready to go.

Next time you log in, you’ll use both your password and the code from your app.

Your Data, Your Control

2FA is optional, but turning it on is one of the simplest, highest-impact steps you can take to protect your account. Whether you’re a solo creator, a production team, or a company integrating Auphonic into your workflow, 2FA helps ensure only trusted people can access your projects, presets, and connected services. Your creative assets, logins, and API credentials stay secure no matter where or how you work.

Now Even More Secure: API, Teams, and Preset Sharing

If you use the Auphonic API, 2FA protects your account access while you connect our audio processing to your own systems or apps. Collaborating? Set up Team Accounts so everyone works from a shared, secure environment. Want to keep your settings consistent across productions? Share your custom Presets with colleagues or clients in just a few clicks.
